Athletic Foundations summer camp

July 20 - 24, 2020 @ Algonquin College (1385 Woodroffe Avenue)

This new program offering will intentionally introduce a variety of movement skills to our youngest athletes. We will draw upon our extensive experience planning and executing basketball programs for beginner athletes throughout local basketball clubs. The goal of the camp is to help players become more in-tune with their body and begin establishing the basic motor skills required to acquire more complex skills later in life. Every activity planned will be focused on fun and encouraging campers to be active.
About 40% of each day will be dedicated to basketball-specific teaching and the rest will be an assortment of other games and activities all promoting physical literacy in a fun and engaging way.
