spring shooting sessions

Shooting the basketball is a highly technical skill that requires practice. Our high quality coaches will give players the direction they need to become more consistent shooters. Sessions are designed to meet the needs of different stages in development.

Intermediate Session (Ages 8 - 11) - These sessions will begin with the basics of shooting, emphasizing the importance of rhythm and footwork. Special focus will be put on identifying potential issues in current shot mechanics in order to help players become more consistent. Players will learn how to shoot on the move, shoot off the dribble and begin to understand what a "good shot" is while playing in a encouraging and competitive environment.
Cost: $20/session

Advanced Session (Ages 12+) - These sessions will continue to emphasize proper shooting technique. Additionally, sessions will strive to help players in the areas of: shot preparation, shot selection and shooting under pressure. Players will be challenged in how they approach shooting at a game pace. An off-season (summer) shooting plan will be provided to players in this group.
